The live experience of The Night Sea is the shared ritual. The band . recently connected with Los Angeles local visionary and visual artist John Schlue, whose hypnotic display of light, imagery, and live-art liquid-digital projection is now a staple of The Night Sea experience. Schlue informs the music which informs the visuals in a whirling feedback loop of light and sound. What the live show has now become is unlike anything of its kind; as one mesmerized fan put it, “You don’t even need drugs.” In its essence, The Night Sea is visceral and undulating. It is a sonic tsunami, unleashed without regard and explored without limits.
